James Mars is an enthusiastic member of the next generation of LAWD’s valuers and commenced his career as an Assistant Valuer with the team in 2022. Based in LAWD’s Brisbane office, James recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce, with dual majors in Accounting and Finance, at the University of Queensland.
James has an intimate knowledge and understanding of agriculture and brings practical, on-farm experience to his role. His family operates a beef cattle business in Central Queensland, which has provided James with valuable background in the industry. James’s upbringing, coupled with strong financial and analytical skills, has given James a solid foundation for his role assisting in the valuation of a diverse range of agricultural asset classes across Australia.
He has a particular focus on grazing and farming properties, as well as assisting in the valuation of cattle feedlots, horticultural assets, and other intensive animal husbandry sites.
