LAWD has continued its rapid growth agenda within the Australian property industry with more than 100 clients and guests joining the firm last week to celebrate the official opening of its Sydney office.

Newly appointed LAWD CEO, Enda Foley, said Sydney was a natural next step of expansion for the business and will complement existing offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth.

“We see tremendous opportunity in the national real estate market for services that are specialised and authentic – and backed by the expertise of a team that is highly experienced and professionally qualified,” Mr Foley said.

“This ethos has been central to how we work with our clients, partners, and staff since our inception in 2020.”

Located in Market Street in the Sydney CBD, Mr Foley said the new office also represented significant opportunity for LAWD’s development, agriculture, and valuation teams to support and service clients.

“A Sydney location is a natural expansion of our urban development arm, a platform that has a strong existing presence in Melbourne and that we are very focused on further expanding to complement our already market-leading agriculture division,” Mr Foley said.

“Sydney is also a significant base for agricultural capital allocation and valuation activities in Australia. A number of our valued agri clients are headquartered there, so it was important to us to ensure we have a physical presence.

“We are now finding strong synergies and capital flows between the agriculture and urban development sectors, and believe we are ideally placed to deliver a unique and tailored service given the breadth of experience and connections within both our development and agri teams.”

Over the past two years, LAWD has overseen well in excess of $3 billion in transactions and the valuation of more than $10 billion of property across the nation, and has grown its team in four states.

“Whilst our beginnings in Sydney may be humble, we have demonstrated rapid expansion since our establishment just more than two years ago and are targeting similar growth of both our agriculture and development teams in Sydney over the coming months.”
