Edward Trowbridge has more than five years’ experience valuing some of the largest investment-grade agricultural assets across Australia.
Edward Trowbridge is an Associate Director in LAWD’s Melbourne-based Valuations Team and has more than five years’ experience in valuing a wide range of agricultural assets. His early start in life on his family’s beef and sheep properties in north-east Victoria and southern New South Wales was a key influence in his decision to pursue a career in rural property.
Edward’s particular property experience is in valuing large-scale institutional grade permanent plantings, including grape, almond, walnut, macadamia, citrus and avocado assets. He also has experience in valuing hydroponic facilities, poultry enterprises, grazing, dairy and rural lifestyle properties, in addition to water entitlement portfolios within the Southern Connected Murray Darling Basin.
Edward has been involved in valuing some of the largest investment-grade agricultural and horticultural assets across Australia for financial reporting and mortgage security purposes, as well as for pre-purchase due diligence. His career highlights include assisting in the valuation of Australia’s largest poultry portfolio on behalf of an institutional investor, with the transaction subject to a long-term triple-net lease. He has also undertaken valuations on behalf of major wine producers in Western Australia, Tasmania, New South Wales and Victoria.
