Geoffrey Brown is a Senior Director at LAWD, leading its Specialised Valuations business unit.
With more than 34 years’ continuous experience in property valuations, Geoffrey is considered one of Australia’s pre-eminent specialist valuers of childcare, educational and medical facilities. He has also been involved in windfarm and forestry valuations in Victoria and New South Wales.
During his career, Geoffrey has built a strong reputation for his expertise in compulsory acquisitions, having worked on some of Australia’s most significant infrastructure and economy building projects spanning roads, tunnels, rail, water and gas.
He has represented clients on various litigation matters including family law and compulsory acquisitions, utilising his outstanding communication and negotiation skills to deliver outcomes for clients. Geoffrey has also acted as an Expert Witness in the Federal Court, Supreme Court and Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Along with his role leading LAWD’s Specialised Valuations business unit, Geoffrey is a shareholder and member of LAWD’s executive leadership team.
