Lachie Smith is an Associate Director in LAWD’s Valuation Team based in Albury, New South Wales and brings five years of valuation experience to the firm. Growing up on a mixed-farming property in the Central-West of New South Wales, Lachie pursued a career in the agriculture industry and completed an Agribusiness (Rural Science) degree, followed by post graduate studies in property valuation.
Throughout his career, Lachie has gained experience valuing irrigated and dryland cropping assets, high rainfall and broad hectare pastoral grazing enterprises, as well as permanent plantings, rural lifestyle properties and water entitlements across New South Wales and Victoria. Lachie has previously undertaken valuations for mortgage security, family law as well as, pre-purchase and pre-sale due diligence advice.
Lachie primarily undertakes valuations across southern New South Wales and northern Victoria, including the Upper-Murray, Riverina and North-East Victorian regions and splits his time between Albury and the Melbourne office.
