Based in Melbourne, Michael Mitra is an Associate Director in LAWD’s Specialist Property Valuations Team.
Michael started his career in the United Kingdom before moving to Australia in 2017 and has more than 15 years’ experience in the real estate industry.
His broad expertise includes mortgage valuations across a range of industrial, commercial and retail asset classes, with a specialist focus on childcare centres. Michael also has extensive experience valuing land and providing advice for compulsory acquisitions and compensation, and has prepared valuation reports for litigation purposes.
Michael has used his strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide valuation advice on several major infrastructure projects in Victoria, including the Suburban Rail Loop, West Gate Tunnel, Outer Metropolitan Ring Road and Melbourne Water stormwater assets.
Renowned for his leadership skills, Michael has been actively involved in graduate programs to mentor young professionals starting out in their career.
