Tim McKinnon is a founding partner of LAWD and is the Senior Director of LAWD’s Valuations Team. He is a respected industry professional known for his ability to conduct complex valuations and brings more than 17 years’ experience in a broad range of asset classes to his role, including the valuation of large-scale institutional grade agricultural holdings and portfolios.
Growing up on a dairy farm in Western Victoria, Tim was drawn to a career in rural property and is highly regarded for his ability to establish strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
While based in LAWD’s Brisbane office, Tim travels extensively throughout the nation to complete valuations for a diverse range of clients.
Throughout his career working with institutional investors, ASX-listed companies and large corporate families, Tim’s expertise has been called upon to value some of Northern Australia’s largest multi-million-dollar pastoral holdings, as well as irrigated and broad hectare cropping enterprises, horticulture/permanent plantings, feedlots, dairy and poultry farms throughout Australia.
Additionally, Tim is skilled in valuing water entitlements and processing facilities for agricultural commodities including meat, grain, milk, nuts and cotton. He is also an industry leader in completing compensation assessments for compulsory land and property acquisitions and resumptions.
